The Album and Singles
By his varied artistic works, L.HUNT explores the relationships between music, written word, theatre production and art in a non-traditional and personally unique way.
Set against the backdrop of the southern California desert, Desert Rose tells the musical story of an oppressive society, a cast of morally decrepit characters and one man's struggle - against all odds - for true love.
In his search for Rose, MINER is overwhelmed by the ways and attitudes of The Wasteland and risks everything to become free from it - crossing The Line and passing the all-seeing High Tower. Along the way, he meets up with a cynical beer CAN, two CACTUS bullies, three attractive yet wicked women (Dust, RUST and GLASS), five dirty CO-WORKERS and a violent CROWD.
Journey, struggle, death, love and redemption are all played out over the course of this 2 hour+ original rock opera/musical theatre piece by L.HUNT.
Desert Rose is a surreal, one-of-a-kind sight and sound trip through the burning hot California desert.
